Racheal and Joshua reached out to us to document their Breckenridge, Colorado elopement 11 days before their wedding day. Yup, you read that right! We can absolutely help you plan your elopement in 11 days!

During the planning process, the forecast called for partly cloudy with a high of 45. However, Colorado had a different idea! We showed up to a full-on blizzard at a temperature of 25! To say that these two were TROOPERS is a complete understatement. They threw on their snowshoes, braved the cold, and we got to explore some of our favorite places in Breckenridge. We are firm believers that cold temperatures are just another excuse for extra mountain snuggles (and lots of warm-up breaks)!

Springtime in Colorado can have some pretty unpredictable weather. That’s why it is super important, if you can, to be flexible with your location and timeline. Luckily, we know Breckenridge super well so when the first location that we had planned for their ceremony was wayyyyy too windy and crazy snowy we had a list of close-by backup spots.

When we got to their ceremony location, we hiked around for a little bit to find the perfect spot for them to exchange their vows. They found this beautiful outcropping of rocks that overlooked a very snowy lake with a stunning mountain backdrop. Racheal and Joshua exchanged the most heartfelt vows among the falling snow.

After their ceremony, we took another warm-up break and headed to another of our favorite Breckenridge locations for more portraits and mountain exploration. You can’t even tell that it was a blizzard because these two are so in love and absolutely made for each other! After their gorgeous Colorado elopement, we all went out to eat together which is so much fun! We thrive on creating friendships with our couples way beyond their wedding day.

Grab your favorite drink and cozy up to Racheal and Joshua’s perfectly snowy Breckenridge, Colorado elopement with us!
