Alpine Vows grew out of a love for the wild places that raised me. Growing up in Montana, my life was built around mountain biking, skiing, and hiking. When I started photographing big weddings back in 2016, I loved the connection, but something clicked when I captured my first elopement in 2018. It felt like the perfect marriage of my two greatest loves: witnessing couples in love and being immersed in the great outdoors.
I never looked back.
Since then, I have dedicated myself to helping couples reclaim their wedding day. It is never lost on me just how special it is to often be the only witness to a ceremony. That level of trust and vulnerability fills my heart with endless gratitude every single time.
Think of me as your steady hand and your biggest cheerleader. I want to make sure you feel seen, supported, and free to celebrate your love in its most authentic form. Whoever you are and however you love, I am so glad you found your way here.

Confession:
I Had the Big Wedding
I wish we eloped instead
Planning my wedding was so much more stressful than I ever expected. It felt like everyone had an opinion about how things should be, from the decorations to the music to the food. In all the chaos, we hardly had a moment to focus on us. We spent so much time running around taking care of every little detail that writing our vows ended up at the very bottom of the list. When the big day finally arrived, we just winged it.
At the time, I had no idea there was another way to celebrate besides the big, traditional wedding. If I had known then what I know now, I would have chosen something far more personal and meaningful. That's why I'm so passionate about helping couples create a wedding day that feels true to who they are.
For our fifth anniversary, we decided to do it differently with a vow renewal in Glacier National Park, a place that has always been close to my heart. We rented a little Airbnb, put our wedding clothes back on, and spent the day exploring the park with our photographer. There was no stress, only joy. And this time we wrote vows from the heart, just for each other. That moment was everything we had missed the first time around, and it felt sacred.
Looking back, our only regret is letting our wedding day become about everything except us. But our vow renewal gave us the chance to be fully present with one another. When we look at those photos now, we can't help but smile. They're a true reflection of us, with no distractions, only love.
